Great value for money, with a lively atmosphere and plenty of activities to join in on. The location was convenient, close to a metro station and the vibrant areas of Santa Teresa & Lapa.
Hotel breakfast could use improvement, particularly in terms of options and variety.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The house was largely occupied by Brazilians with only a handful of travelers staying there. Most of them were planning on staying for over a week. I only stayed there a night. The focus on community and house morale was obvious and welcoming.
The only thing I didn't like was the late hours that everyone kept. Since I was traveling on a schedule and didn't have much time to sleep, the time I had to sleep was important to me. The noise from the usual social hours didn't keep me up too much though.

The staff was very helpful (thanks, Binho). They make us feel comfortable, as if we were at home. The toilets and bathrooms are usually clean. A ambientação do lugar é bonita, artística, muito inspiradora e convidativa à leitura e convivência entre os hóspedes.
There isn't a proper place for having breakfast, I mean, there aren't enough chairs for everybody depending on the time.

For the price we paid, the value was exceptional. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable stay.
One minor improvement that could be made with the breakfast items would be to offer a wider variety of options.

It can get quite noisy at night due to the bar downstairs, which might be a downside for those seeking a peaceful and quiet environment.

I gotta say, the value for my money at this hostel was on point. The beds were decent and the place was kept squeaky clean. Plus, the staff went out of their way to make sure I had a blast in the city and even got me into some amazing live music shows. The location in Lapa was perfect for exploring the city too.
Morning meal could've used a little more variety, but everything else was top-notch.
